Hi! I’m Aanya Dogra, a high school senior who is passionate about creating positive, lasting change in the community through collaborative and innovative solutions.
I started Impact Blueprint because I wanted a space to explore the “why” behind global issues. Through writing, I try to connect the gap between the worlds of economics, public policy, and sustainability—to understand how decisions made in boardrooms or government halls affect our everyday lives.
This blog has become my way of thinking out loud—about what it means to question and act with purpose. Some posts unpack topics like climate-driven economic change or new policy regulations on businesses, while others connect to my experiences: researching climate change’s impact on economic growth in Africa with Professor Sebastien Mary; reducing plastic waste through my internship at DN Plastics; and creating a composting solution for Kent County’s overflowing landfill at the Wege Prize High School Collaborative.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me debating policy at Model United Nations and Debate Club, volunteering in the community through Rotary Interact and within the Refugee Education Center, or practicing for my next tennis match or an a cappella rehearsal.
If you’d like to collaborate, share an idea, or just start a conversation, you can reach me at myimpactblueprint@gmail.com or connect on LinkedIn. You can also follow me on Instagram @myimpactblueprint.
Thanks for visiting—and for believing that every idea can leave a blueprint for impact.
